Category: Getting to Know You
I was cyber stocked two years ago on a role playing board. The admins followed me from site to site and said nasty things until one of the sites told them that if they did not stop the police would be called. I did not want that stuff to follow me here so I left and recently came back here. My account was disabled and I deleted my information off my profile but everything is active again.
Welcome back. Hope you make some good connections on this site.
Thanks Leaffan.
Welcome back. Hope your experiences here are better than some of your past experiences.
Anyway, welcome back.
Bob
Thank you Bob. I hope things do go better because I almost hate being online.
if you almost hate it, why are you here?
Because I'm wanting to try again. I can not hide forever. That would be like saying I hate offline so I don't go outside. It may be the wrong decision and I might regret being online but only time will tell.
being outside, and being online, are two different things, but best of luck to you, anyway.
There are idiots wherever you go. Don't let that deter you from doing stuff you want. Glad to see you are giving this site a chance. Just don't think you will completely avoid drama or trolling. It's all in how you handle it.
Yes chelslicious I know they are two different things but it is the closest example I can think of.
Thanks DistanceRunner337 I do not handle online drama well at all. It hurts me more than offline fights because I do not understand online fights at all.
People refuse to think that there are people with feelings behind a computer and also mis interpret writing.
I get that, but in my opinion, it's easier to deal with online drama.
You can much more easily walk away from it. Speaking as someone who's been through my fair share of that stuff myself, some of it deserved and some of it, not so much, I can say that, although it may hurt at the time, it's comforting to at least know that the people who are throwing stones at you through the computer won't be able to humiliate you from day to day.
True but it still hurts.
